To establish a simple way to explain an area of nonverbal communication to students.
These posters are intended for use in high schools for students to grasp the concept of proxemics and develop cultural understanding. It is important to have an understanding of these differences and respect them to achieve successful intercultural communications.
For this project, I created a series of infographics to be displayed that would quickly describe an area of nonverbal communication across cultures. The goal was to inform the students about proxemics, the study of spatial distances, and address the issue of the varied practices across cultures. To best achieve this, I created a balance between graphics and text and made the information simplistic and accessible while still being visually interesting.
